User Data Deletion

At MyCampaignApp, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you would like to request the deletion of your data from our systems, you can do so using the methods described below.

What Data We Store

When you use MyCampaignApp — including when you connect via Facebook or other third-party services — we may store:

Your name and email address
Profile information from connected social accounts (e.g. Facebook page name, profile picture)
Content you create within the platform (campaigns, posts, emails)
Contact and lead data you import or collect through forms and landing pages
Usage analytics and session data

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1 — Email Request

Send an email to info@mybusinessapp.co.za with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Include:

The email address associated with your MyCampaignApp account
The name of any connected social accounts you want unlinked
Whether you want a full account deletion (all data removed) or a partial deletion (specific data only)

Option 2 — Delete Your Account from the App

If you have access to your account, your tenant Owner can remove your user from the Tenant Admin panel, which will delete your user record and revoke access. For a full data purge including any content you created, follow up with an email request as described in Option 1.

What Happens After a Request

We will verify your identity to protect against unauthorised deletion requests.
Your data will be permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days of verification.
Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being automatically purged.
We will confirm deletion via email once the process is complete.

Facebook & Third-Party Logins

If you connected your Facebook account to MyCampaignApp and wish to remove the connection:

Go to your Facebook Settings → Business Integrations
Find MyCampaignApp in the list and click Remove
This revokes MyCampaignApp’s access to your Facebook data
To also delete data already stored on our side, submit a deletion request using one of the options above

Data Retention

After account deletion, we may retain anonymised, aggregated statistical data that cannot be used to identify you. This is permitted under POPIA and is used solely for service improvement.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
